|Below is the sightseeing spot I provide the guiding service.|
I love Tsukiji so much that I often go to Tsukiji market for shopping fresh fish or seafood and enjoy eating sushi outside the market. In Tsukiji market area, you can enjoy various kinds of food like tempura, ramen, pasta, Japanese rolled omelet, matcha chocolate or cookies, etc. and I am sure that you will never get tired of trying them. Walking farther, I would like to take you to Namiyoke shrine and the Sumida River to see the beautiful bridges and nice view from the bridge. Also, Tsukiji Honganji Temple just across the market is worth visiting. The Buddhist temple made of concrete with Indian Architectural motifs is really amazing. If you go farther up to Akashi-cho, you can trace the Tsukiji foreign settlement which existed more than 80 years, such as the oldest catholic church, US embassy site, St. Luke’s’ International Hospital, and rhetoric houses before the war. Be 10-minute walk from Tsukiji market, you can reach the beautiful Japanese garden which was Shogun’s second castle.
|My personal information|
I retired from the company in December, 2017. I would like to spend my free time and effort doing favorite things. I live in Saitama prefecture next to Tokyo. I enjoy walking historic sites, eating the food in the restaurant with a good reputation, watching the seasonal plants and flowers. I like walking and I am tough enough to walk as long as 10 km in a day. So far, I have been engaged in English translation, teacher of English, instructor of English for the company employees. Through this job, the thing I was most excited about was meeting new people and communication with them. I majored in English and American literature and I have a teaching license as a teacher of English. I also have EIKEN Grade Pre-1 and TOEIC score 900. I got a certificate as National Licensed Tour Guide and Itinerary Control Manager last year. My aim is to welcome the guests from home and abroad and show them around the wonderful spots of Japan to make them feel happy and satisfied with my tour. I have a confidence in doing so. Please feel free to give me your request.
