Aichi_Tokugawa Art Museum

I am an English guide in charge of
Kawagoe Ichiban-gai.

Below is the sightseeing spot I provide the guiding service.

Sight-seeing spot: Tokugawa Art Museum

Tokugawa Art Museum is an are museum located Higashi(East) ward, Nagoya. It has a lot of significant items including swords, armor, Noh costumes amd masks etc, especially wolrd famous Genji Monogatari Emaki (Picture scrolls). Tokugawaen garden is next to this musuem so you can enjoy coffee or walking around the garden after visiting the facility. I recommend here those like Japanese history.

My personal information

I was born and grew up in Nagoya. After graduating, I entered a local bank and work for it for thirteen years. Then I went to America to study English, went to Singapore to teach Japanese for local residents. I returned to my home town in 2013 and became an English teacher. I scored 870 points of TOEIC test and passed Eiken exam pre-first grade. I believe that we guide interpreters must know well about sightseeing spots and entertain international visiters as well. I became a beer sommelier this summer(June, 2018). I can suggest pairing beer and Japanese food. So, please designate me as your guide.

Guide Fee

Basically, my guide fee is 25 dollars per an hour up tp 2 persons. Additional person’s fee is 5 dollars per an hour. However we can negotiate the fee depending on time and date.

Please read my proposal carefully. I will make every effort to make your trip pleasant.

I will e-mail my proposal to you if you consider to request my service.
