Kyoto_Ginkakuji temple

I am an English guide in charge of
Ginkakuji temple.

Below is the sightseeing spot I provide the guiding service.

Ginkakuji temple is the place where Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa founded as the base of the creation of Higashiyama culture. This temple is also said to be the birthplace of Japanese traditional art such as tea ceremony, flower arrangement, landscaping art etc. You can feel the origin of traditional Japanese culture. It takes about 40 minutes to get this temple from Kyoto Station by bus. After visiting Ginkakuji temple, it is also possible for me to guide you to Honen-in temple, Shinnyo-do temple along the path of philosophy, and also furthermore to guide Nanzenji temple and Gion. This route is suitable for a half day to one day walking course. Cute shops are scattered on the way of philosophy.

My personal information

Although I had a chance to go abroad sometimes on business, I could not speak English well at that time. Then I went out accompanied by a person who could speak English well. As I wanted to be able to speak directly with foreigners, I studied English and got the qualification of an interpreter. Even now I am not very good at English, but I somehow manage to continue the guide.
I hope to make sure that guests who came to Japan from a distance spend delightfully and can make good memories. After completing the guide work, I have a lot of reflection points, but I hope to have good memories with customers.
