|Welcome to my page
I am an English guide
in charge of Kofukuji Temple.
|Below is the sightseeing spot I provide the guiding service.|
Sight-seeing spot: The five-storied pagoda of Kofukuji Temple is perhaps Nara’s most distinctive landmark. Kofukuji Temple was built by Fujiwara no Fuhito in 710, the same year in which the imperial capital was transferred to Nara. The temple is also home to the mustsee Kofukuji National Treasure amuseum. Within the vast collection of outstanding Buddhist works of art here, Some of the most popular works are Yamada-dera brain of Buddha, the Senju Kannon Buddhist Goddessof Mercy with 1000 arms, and the Ashura statue.
