I am an English guide in charge of

Below is the sightseeing spot I provide the guiding service.

・Why not enjoy the comfortable local city of Kobe with my guiding!
Kobe city has a modern feel because you won’t see much traditional structures around, but the city itself has a rich history.
Kobe city has a population of 153 million, which overlooks the Seto Inland Sea and the Rokko mountains. The sea and mountains surrounding Kobe brought various industries to the city. The urban area is engulfed by mountain ranges just behind it. And just beyond the mountains, you can find Arima hot springs, which is known as the one of the three oldest and greatest hot springs in Japan.
The sake brewing industry is also successful due to the fresh water flowing from the mountains and the city has developed over time together with the port.
・Since the water port was formerly established in the 8th century and improved by the Grand Minister during the 12th century, the port has played a big role ever since as an important water transport point.
For about 220 years, Japan had closed its door for the foreign trades until 1854. Kobe was opened as an international port in 1868. Also the foreign settlement was formed at the same time as well. Since then, the city of Kobe accepted many foreign cultures.
These foreign cultures are what make Kobe unique. For example, the famous Kobe beef owes what it is known today as the staple of foreign people.
・Even though the people of Kobe experienced the devastated earthquake in 1995, the city itself has recovered since.
I would like you to get a feel of the trendy but nostalgic city, while tracing back to its roots.
You may want to try Kobe beef and sweets as well. At the end of the trip, you will find how romantic Kobe really is!

・It takes just 22 minutes from JR Osaka station to JR Sannomiya station by Shin Kaisoku(special rapid service).
