Kanazawa

I am an English guide in charge of
Kanazawa.

Below is the sightseeing spot I provide the guiding service.

Kanazawa is located in about 290 km north west from Tokyo, only 2.5 hours from Tokyo on the supper express train.  Like Kyoto, it escaped bombing of world war II, so, although it also has its fair share of modern architecture, it has preserved its intact samurai and geisha quarters, with their winding alleys and little wooden houses topped with glazed tiles.  Famous for the Kenroku-en, one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan, as well as its fine cuisine, richly varied handicrafts, Noh theater and museums, Kanazawa is definitely iki-tasted refined, and distinguished.
