A World Heritage Site, Okinoshima Island called ” The Island where gods exist ” in Munakata and the family of related heritages

In 2017, Munakata Shrine was registered as a World Culture Heritage. It enshrines Okitsumiya in Okinoshima Island, Nakatsumiya in Oshima Island and Hetsumiya in the mainland, who are the three festival goddesses. Munakata Shrine is one of the oldest historical shrines. From the 4th to the 9th century, in East Asia over the sea, Munakata had active exchanges with many countries.

My personal information

I taught English grammar and conversation to students from children to adults for about 30 years.

For my private reason, I retired the work as a teacher. But after 60 years old, my energy for the new job has been coming out these days. In the past I short-term-studied in Australia, worked as a volunteer at an International fair, and I had various communications with foreign people with different cultures in Hawaii, Europe and the like. And now through these experiences, I would like to work as a tour guide for foreign people visiting Japan.

I passed STEP semi-1st Grade. TOEIC score is 800.

My hobby is listening to and singing Jazz. I like people. My character is cheerful and friendly. And I would be very pleased to work to have visitors know many good things of Japan.
