I am an English guide in charge of
Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Kyushu National Museum, Dazaifu Amusement Park.

Below is the sightseeing spot I provide the guiding service.

Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Kyushu National Museum, Dazaifu Amusement Park

Dazaifu Tenmangu is a Shinto shrine built over the grave of Michizane Sugawara (845-903 A.D. Heian period).

As the kami (god) of culture and learning, lots of people come to visit there from inside and outside of Japan.

Walking about a more kilometer from the shrine, you can visit Dazaifu Amusement Park (open about 60 years ago), Kyushu National Museum (the 4th National Museum -1st Tokyo, 2nd Nara, 3rd Kyoto) and the other various facilities.

Access: 5 minutes on foot from Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station.

To Dazaifu Station: About 42 minutes by Non-stop bus from Fukuoka International Airport. About 30 minutes by car. By train, get off at Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station. I will go to the station to pick you up.

My personal information

I taught English grammar and conversation to students from children to adults for about 30 years.

For my private reason, I retired the work as a teacher. But after 60 years old, my energy for the new job has been coming out these days. In the past I short-term-studied in Australia, worked as a volunteer at an International fair, and I had various communications with foreign people with different cultures in Hawaii, Europe and the like. And now through these experiences, I would like to work as a tour guide for foreign people visiting Japan.

I passed STEP semi-1st Grade. TOEIC score is 800.

My hobby is listening to and singing Jazz. I like people. My character is cheerful and friendly. And I would be very pleased to work to have visitors know many good things of Japan.
